Accurate Disbursing is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Front Desk Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a career with an established construction disbursing company.
As the Front Desk Coordinator, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients while supporting daily disbursing operations. This client-facing role is responsible for greeting visitors, processing daily check runs, managing correspondence, collecting lien waivers, and maintaining organized transaction files. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Work Location:
- Full-time, on-site position located in Sunset Hills, Missouri.
- Occasional attendance at conferences, industry events, and meetings throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area may be required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist walk-in clients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members.
- Process daily check runs related to construction disbursing transactions.
- Collect and review lien waivers, ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.
- Prepare outgoing mail and manage email notifications.
- Scan, sort, organize, and maintain physical and electronic files.
- Document client interactions and maintain accurate file records.
- Support administrative and operational functions as needed.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Missouri Department of Insurance License, or the ability to obtain and maintain required licensing.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to meet ongoing continuing education requirements associated with licensing.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and coworkers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, reception, administrative support, banking, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Sound judgment and the ability to recognize when issues require escalation.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
COMPENSATION and BENEFITS:
This position has the potential to earn compensation in the range of $41,600 - $52,000. Actual rate may vary within the range provided, depending on a number of factors, including skillset, experience and location.
